Great desert stop off May 22, 2009
We stopped for two nights in the Ranch on our way from San Francisco to Las Vegas.
The rooms were great, comfortable beds and much needed air conditioning. There is a warm spring fed pool which is open late. A bar, cafe and grill to eat in at night as well as a shop. Only down side is prices are a little steep, but then I guess they have no competition. Everything you could need in the desert!  Part of the The big tour of California (and Vegas) travel blog
