Getting funky with the monkey Apr 12, 2008

Nightlife is weird in Vietnam. Hip hop is played predominantly in clubs which have to be shut by midnight. I had been to Funky Monkey once 2 years ago, it was one of the very few places that play good house music in Hanoi. It is now saturated with Hip Hop and Pop tunes, with some ocasional hard house tracks thrown in. The young local crowd however is pleased with the foreigner DJ.

funky monkey - tour of the city - massage & facial - wild lotus dinner #2 - out dancing until 4:30am! some other random thoughts about vietnam & the vietnamese people: - the vietnamese definitely have a bit of a tougher shell than other south eastern countries...but once… #88 - weekend in hanoi - so sad to say goodbye to the habitat for humanity crew!
