Dropped the car off and copped a £50 bill for the scratch - happy that they weren't going to gouge us for more like I thought they were going to.  So yesterday and today we've been staying with Mel in Earlsfield.  Tomorrow morning we have to get up very early - about 4am - as we are getting picked up by the mini cab at 4.45 and heading off to Heathrow for a flight to Dublin. 

My parents arrived nice and early at Heathrow Terminal 4.  I managed to drag myself out of bed to get there to surprise them as they weren't expecting anyone.  The day was spent taking them around Fulham to get familiarised with the area, few hours of rest to recover from the long haul flight and a few drinks at the local (Wandsworth Bridge Hotel).

Well the fun and frivolity had to come to an end at some point.  So after getting a bit of sleep, a quick feed and a clean up - we packed our stuff and loaded up the bus for the long ride home.  And it was a bit longer than expected as we took a detour to drop the tour leader off at a train station - as well as a 20min unscheduled stop to get some money and food.  The bus ride was uneventful, with a lot of it spent with earphones in and ipod on trying to get a bit of shut eye (...

Mel arranged for a few of us to go down to the Southern Cross for a sunday session to celebrate her birthday.  We also had a drink to wish Jade well as she was flying back to Perth while we were at the pub.
