Fujiko.F.Fujio Museum Kawasaki Reviews
Meet Doraemon and friends! Dec 18, 2011
Is Doraemon a familiar name for you? If you grew up watching this blue robot, you will absolutely love this museum. Really bring back the sweet memories from childhood :)
Fujiko.F.Fujio Museum is newly open since september 2011. Perhaps not many people outside Japan know this museum yet, but it's full everyday. You need to book the ticket in advance. When I went there, 95% of the visitors was japanese. The staff explained the rules in Japanese, so you may want to have local friend to accompany you. They do have english device for non-japanese thou.
They have many great collection about Fujiko's artworks, his history, his work-desk, anything about him, you can find it here. You can't take a pictures in some part of the museum, but you still can take it in the rest parts.
Not only his collections, but you also can find some items are designed like in doraemon story. I took lot of photos here :) They also have a theater to show all Fujiko artworks, and souvenir shop. They sell many cute things, from pin, cookies, and giant's CD :))
It's not only kids can enjoy this museum, but adults can join the fun as well. When you finished looking around there's also a cafe upstairs who also sell special dorayaki ^^
This is very nice museum to explore, overall. Especially if you're Doraemon, you won't regret it!
