Ft Myers Vacation Guide

I did not feel that the Fort Myers community welcomed or cared about it's vititors. We were there for a week. The workers on the Estero trolly were, with the exception of one, rude. Shops closed before 9pm. There was nothing much open after that. The main road had such gridlock, that it would take 45 minutes to travel 3 miles to see the sunset at the beach. There was a boil water emergency and we were given a house to rent within the boil water area without being told that we could not drink the water or clean our food with the water or brush our teeth with the water. We found out about the emergency on our own. I called the Century 21 Tri Powers renters who rented to us and they did not attempt to notify the others who were involved, nor did they offer to help us with our water needs. We and others were unhappy with the cleanliness and disrepair of our units.
