Fruot bar, your familiar bar! - Frutabar Jul 20, 2009
Although you are in the city, once you go inside this place you feel as if you were on the beach.

The decoration is funky and beach style. Some tables are boards, haha. It was a bit cloudy when we were in Guayaquil, but this place is so bright and colorful. They have 3 other locations in town, but we went to the one in front of the Malecon.

The place seems to be small, but they have another dining area inside. The a/c was pretty strong there, so we decided to stay at the outside tables.

This place is all about organic food. You can find: salads, sandwiches and all kind of juices you can imagine. Even some really strange or new to me, like avocado... Also they have different combinations or you can create your own one. Shawn got the passion fruit & pineapple and I got the mora & guanabana. Both of them really tasty and refreshing!

You might think that the juices are expensive, but when you see the huge size of them and try them, you'll change your mind. Trust me!

They call themselves "familiar bar" since there's no alcohol for sell. So, children can enjoy this place too.

We came here thinking about a small snack and just had a juice which kept us full for a couple of hours. This is the best choice for a healthy snack! Highly recommended!
