 Fresh drink in the area May 01, 2009
One thing is nice from gulf country - because alcohol drink is very limited - or even not available at all, they compensate it (probably compensate isnot a proper word) by having very nice fresh fruit juices.
Normally small food stalls or even the stall which only serves fruit juices are located scattered around the city. They have a normal juice but sometimes they also have their own mixed juice and named it beautifully:). The nicest one will consist of layers of different fruits therefore made the drink looks nice and colorful. No additives,no canned fruit juices, even if we asked specifically - they don't put any ice or sugar. I visited one fruit juice stall in Doha - Souq Waqif. The seller is Syrian and he posed when I askedthe permission to take a picture of his stall!  Part of the Qatar 2009 travel blog
