Frontier Village Fort Gaines Reviews
A collection of historic buildings Apr 26, 2008
The Bluff Park area of Fort Gaines will bring feelings of the past to mind. Located in the southeast corner of town the park has collected several historic buildings from around Clay County. Begun back at the beginning of the twentieth century and maybe earlier this bluff overlooking the Chattahoochee River has turned into a nostalgic spot.
Among the buildings there are a Confederate Fort watch tower, a Smoke House, a Grist Mill, the Ingram House, and a log cabin built by the Boy Scouts. We got pictures of several and the view.
If they continue to add to the area someday this will be a real excellent place to visit.
