If you like Mexican food and want exceptional Mexican food and are visiting Chicago, you must go to Frontera Grill. The International Herald rated the Frontera Grill the 3rd best restaurant in the WORLD and the James Beard organization (foodies will know who James Beard is) rated Frontera Grill THE best restaurant in the United States in 2007. Rick and his wife accepted this prestigious award in NYC back in May of 2007. This designation is based on votes from Rick's peers...other chefs across the country. RIck is passionate about Mexican cuisine. Many of you may be famailiar with him from PBS television. His food is not the typical burritos and enchiladas. It's authentic, not Americanized and represent all regions of Mexico. Mexican food fans will love this place.
