Frigidarium Gelateria Artigianale
Frigidarium Gelateria Artigianale Reviews
Great Gelato! May 03, 2009
This Gelateria is very conveniently located right on the way toward the Piazza Navona. We took a look inside and found it too tempting to resist! The shop is small, with a glass enclosed kitchen in the rear where the ice cream is prepared. The glass cases full of overflowing tubs of colorful gelato called to us!!
The lady and gentleman at the counter were very friendly – offering suggestions and as taste of this or that to help with our decision making! The gelato was fantastic!! We had: Danny: Chocolate hazelnut “gianduja” (very tasty – creamy chocolate with hazelnuet) and “fior di latte”(a sweet cream flavor, delicious!) ; Alex: Mint with chocolate chips; Carla and I: Chocolate and Banana! (the banana is incredible!! If you like banana, try it!!). I couldn’t resist the temptation of having mine dipped in chocolate! If I come back to Rome, I will come back to this friendly place with delicious gelato! So many more flavors to try!! Part of the ROME REVISITED travel blog |
