Friends / Mith Samlanh Reviews

Jan 06, 2006
During our visit in Cambodia, Phnom Penh, we ate many times at the restaurant Friends (Mith Samlanh). It's a project to help street children all over Cambodia and neighboring countries to get a healty environment, a safe home and in this case an education in the restaurant. The children which are working in the restaurant developpe themselves so they can have a job in other restaurants. This project is an oppotunity for them to return to society.

During dinner we really enjoyed their gentle way of working, they were always smiling and had better manners than some people we know at home. :) Most important of all, the food is really fabulous and the ambiance was great. We bought the cooking book in their shop next to the restaurant and still enjoy the recipies of Friends.

By eating this really tasty food at the restaurant, you will be able to help some children to get a better life, a hopefull future.
