Freshwater Crocodiles of Black River Reviews
Happy to meet the wild one! May 03, 2011
One of the things I had looked forward to in Black River was to finally see a wild crocodile in the wild. Last year when I was in Nicaragua I was told that I saw one but I was sure it was a piece of wood and I never dared to count it as a crocodile.
One of the high lights for me would therefore be to see it in the Black River. One thing that I never had counted on was that the crocodile would have a name and come forward when the guide would say like a hot chicken wing.
I was happy that I saw move than the two crocs that came from the mangroves when they called because there were crocs that didn’t give a shit about the call and just were hiding in the shallow water.
I managed to get some nice shots of the crocs and that made me quite pleased.
