Fresh Hotel Athens

The area maybe boarderline between the sketchy redlight to the right and the ancient sights and modern beauties to the left, but this hotel is really a hit!
We loved it once we found it online and we were even more stunned when we arrived! It has everything from a roof top pool and bar with a full view of the Parthenon to a sauna and even a mini hammam in the gym area! The internet is free. The entire building is very modern, bright, colourful, airy and well kept for the guests!

The only sad part was that they closed the Ice Lounge before our arrival this summer :(

I stayed at the Fresh Hotel for 3 nights while in Athens. It has a pretty convenient location not far from the subway station at Omonia Square. However, that square is a bit seedy with drug addicts and such at night. The hotel has a very modern and clean look, the rooms are clean and well thought out placement of power outlets. Wireless internet cost extra in the rooms, but free internet access at the Business Center, where they had 3 PC's. The rooftop lounge was very nice, lots of comfy cushions and lounge chairs, a bar which opens til the wee hours. View of the Acropolis and Athens from the rooftop! A very small pool on the roof too, but only for dipping, no laps! Breakfast was included, and they had a very good selection of foods for breakfast, even including a machine which you press a button to see oranges being squeezed in front of your eyes for the freshest juice you can find anywhere. An Ice Bar just opened at the lobby of the hotel, but I didn't check it out. Overall, a delightful place to stay in Athens, the price was reasonable too!
