French Market Djibouti
French Market Djibouti Reviews
French Market May 10, 2009
We (Americans) call this one block the French Market, no one knows if this is the correct name. The block has several shops that sell cheap knockoff clothes, typical African trinkets, electronic stores, restaurants, and most importantly grocery and department stores.
You can get a very very good foot long chicken or beef sandwich for less than $3 USD.
You can get a very good espresso and croissant at one of the cafes for $3 USD.
Negotiation is expected at the clothing and trinket shop, and as an American you will get jacked up by all the outdoor shops; even though they promise to give you the best price.
