I recently spent a week in Guadaloupe at the Club Med resort with my sister. We had a great time!!! Before we went, we found it difficult to find out information about the island or resort. So, we hope this helps in your travels.

We actually tendered into Devil's Island, but that doesn't seem to be accepted! Here we toured the island, in fantastically hot weather (much to the annoyance of everyone who went - except me!). As an ex-penal colony it was a rather stark reminder of the sort of thing that prisoners used to be faced with. The cells we visited were no wider than an arms span, and were in total darkness.
