French Broad River Camp Ground has to be one of the prettiest camp grounds I have ever seen, & I have been to a number of them .Open all year, located on the river just NW of Asheville south of Marshall. They have cabins & full RV Hook-ups don’t know what they cost or look like on the inside, I had my tent. The bathhouse is nothing special, who cares. The scenery is so outstanding you can over look a lot of things. Each site has water, electric a picnic table & a fire ring who could ask for anything more. There are ducks & geese of all sizes & colors going in & out of the water, doing fly bys & water landings. I would have stay for 2 or 3 days if winter had not raised his ugly head 1 last time. I was cold, so I headed south I will be back.
