I´m enjoying my stay in München, a cool city. I´ve never been to a place where life revolves around BEER. They even have a Religious Day for Beer. I´ll be wearing the leiderhossen or dirndl the way I´m drinking over here. Yes, Beer is GOOD here. I try t…

Yesterday I flew into Nuremberg with my sister to watch the USA vs Ghana World Cup match. The town is very pretty, and very accessable to tourists. I'm sure the notority of the name keeps some people away, but that's their loss.
That night was the Holland vs Argentina match, which we w…

Yesterday, we had to get up early (8:30 wouldn't usually be too early, but the night before we were forced to stay up til 3 am by our evil hosts). We had a nice breakfast, and bid farewell to Norbert and Anja, who then drove us to the bus station. We rode to our next hosts, Schumi and Lili, who als…

In this beautiful town three rivers converge: the Ilz, the Inn, and the Danube. For the next little while we will be following the Danube eastwards... on bikes! Our rout…

It was very interesting. The people dressed up as they did in Medieval time. Food is great. The Castels are amazing and they have turned one into a museum. In side they have all the tools they used in those days to torture Witches.Steeling was very bad and resulted in shackels in the town square for days. The grounds are wonderful and have a great ray of flowers.

A very interesting trip going it alone, with a few small mishaps... but everything worked out fine in the end. Met a lot of nice people in all places traveled, kept meeting people from London in practically all of my destinations... everyone was friendly and everyone was usually very friendly and willing to help. I would definately recommend staying more nights in each destination than I did, but it ws still exciting to move at that pace too.
