I have been told that Schweinfurt translates to "pig crossing". They eat alot of pork in Schweinfurt. Maybe this is the reason they decided to honor these tasty animals.
Spread out over the city you will find 2 meter high, fiberglass statues of pigs. The themes are a reflection of their sponsors. The total number remains a mystery. Here are some of the ones we have seen during our short stay here. Hope they make you smile. Enjoy!

An International Toy Fair bought me to Germany this time where I had never seen so many toys before. The Fair itself was huge in 12 building and included over 3000 exhibitors! Once work was over I got to explore a little and Nurnberg seems like a nice place full of history that i would visit again.…

In 2006 we travelled for 4 and a half weeks through Italy!
I was in Italy two times before.I loved it!!! Italy is such a lovely country.
This was the first time for my husband.
We went to Venice,San Marino, Rimini, we've spent a week on the Amalficoast(amazing), Capri (beautiful), Paestum,climb the Vesuvio, Sorrento,Pompeï etc
A couple of days in Rome, 3 days near La Spezia and walked in the Cinque Terre. Then to Milan and a couple of days in Germany.
