Freiburg Vacation Guide

Freiburg is a city in Baden-Württemberg, Germany situated on the western edge of the southern Black Forest. The central market is called the Munsterplatz and the Munster cathedral looms over it. The Munster cathedral is a fine example of both high and late Gothic architecture. It boasts stone and wood carvings, stained glass windows and a spire that you can ascend.
Freiburg has a relaxed atmosphere, which is do largely in part to the university community in the area.
