this blog is about how i have come to this chapter of my life which i hope to title 'travel'

I have been serveral times in Basel over the years. The area is very nice and is the crossing between Germany, Schweitz and France.

The school trip I went on between 11th and 12th grade, where I basically did nothing but drink, sit in hookah bars, film hilarious video footage, and take lots of pictures. Well, not as many as I could have. I regret that. We stayed the majority of the trip at a school in Freiburg. We did spend some time in France, too.

Chillin with my Albanian pal who gave me shelter for the evening. The black forrest certainly lives up to its name. at least i dont have to sleep in it again. way to wet. gonna leave tomorrow for somewhere warmer.

This was my first trip abroad for a week during December 2006. It was the best trip I've had to date.

Study Abroad program Fall of 2006 to Spring of 2007. Started in China for 5 months and then went to Europe where I traveled to 15 countries and 27 cities in 4 months. WOW.

October 4 I woke up slowly from Ulrike's place and we discussed while having breakfast. Finally later by the afternoon she drove me to the rasthof by the highway down to Freiburg from which I could start hitch-hiking. The sun was there and the temperature was great. It took me a while before I got motivated enough to ask people and that I found a lift.
