Freeport, Bahamas -› -› …
More beach time and exploring the near-by Port Lucaya, nothing new to report except the midnight stroll on the beach last night may have been a bad idea. I don't think even a whole-body dip in DEET could have kept the sand-fleas at bay. This is going to be itchy in a couple of days!!!I will definit…

**I'M STILL UPLOADING PICS OF THIS TRIP, SO COME BACK & SEE THE NEW PICS I'LL BE PUTTING UP!** Right after my NY trip, I went on a trip to the Bahamas with my friend of 11 years, Dana. It was a great way to rewind after NY. We actually stayed from 6/17-6/21/09.

Well, here I am, back in Pittsburgh again. I haven't written in a while, but was really away for the shortest vacation ever. For next time, I have to remember that a 5 day vacation in ANY place, is no longer enough time. I feel like I just got to know the natives, and it's time to get o…

When I say relaxing I mean RELAXING... I mean I went my own pace, I wasn't rushed. I really didn't care what time it was for what. I did what I wanted, when I wanted. I freed my mind. I stopped and smelled the flowers. I noticed everything I took for granted.&nbs…

Nassau is about the only place you'll find much to do, but the beaches are nice, and the water is amazing. Freeport wasn't really much of a sight.

Went to the Bahamas with my best friend Anita. Lots of fun in the sun. Stayed at the Westin Our Lucaya Resort. Went snorkeling, parasailing, and won at the slot machines. Had a great time!

Nassau, Bahamas -› Freeport, Bahamas -› …
Yes, it rained and rained and rained in Freeport. I still haven't looked to see what the weather was like the night we left Orlando, but the ship rocked and rocked, and many people (not me, thank God) were sick the first night. For myself, it was pretty entertaining trying to walk around on the shi…

Woke just before 10 & found the Internet connection down so couldn't check e-mail. We had some great omelets in the Windjammer but the place was an absolute zoo! Unlike other cruises (except Disney, of course) there are zillions of kids on this cruise.
We sat up on the Sun Deck for a while but…

My life as a flight attendant -- as of right now it's just an itinerary of where I've been but I may add some places to go, sites to see, and all that soon. = )

Maybe it was that we stayed in Freeport, but I didn't really like the Bahamas except when I was on the beach. It was so overrun with tourism that I didn't feel like there was any "real culture" That's OK, though. The beach was awesome, as was the snorkeling and scuba diving.
