Freefall Adventures - Skydiving Reviews

Jun 30, 2007
I went Skydiving for the first time here. Freefall adventures is actually located at:

300 Dahlia Avenue
Williamstown, NJ 08094
Tel. 856-629-7553
freefalladventures.com

But it's so close to Phily that as you're coming down you can see the city skyline. They took me and 15 of my friends/cousins up to 13,500ft. I went tandem with a cool Australian guy who'd jumped 1,700 times. All the people that work there have accents from other countries - France, England, Russia, etc. But they all know exactly what they're doing. You free fall for 30 seconds before pulling the parachute and you are gliding slowly down after that for another 10 minutes or so.

It was awesome! Unlike anything i've ever experienced, and to all those who are scared of the feeling you get in the pit of your stomach from roller coasters, don't worry! Roller coasters push you down so you get an uncomfortable feeling. When you free fall, there is nothing pushing you. In fact, you don't feel anything at all, just the wind in your face. You lose all sense of depth perception too so the ground seems like it's right under you and there's no sense of vertigo!

The worst part is the anticipation, the jump itself is actually the easy part. I highly recommend taking a couple motion sickness tablets like dramamine or imodium if you get sick on small planes. They will settle your stomach and take away your anxiety at the same time.

This is something everyone should try and for only $175, it's not really that bad. If you get really good they have a helicopter and a two-seat WWI style Bi-plane you can jump from as well.
