Freedom Trail tour Aug 23, 2008

The Freedom Trail tour is a walking tour of some of the historic sites in Boston. Since it is a walking tour, you dont see all the places there are but they do cover the downtown area well. The guide was informative and had a good personality, making the tour fun. It takes right at 1.5 hours to complete, starts at Boston Common and ends at Faneuil Hall. This tour is recommended.

I had decided to go to Boston alone as part of a scouting trip to see how I would cope for a further 60 odd day trip to America in 2009 hopefully and also maybe a way of "finding myself again" after my wife left me so here is a small …Freedom Trail" tour and where it leads to. We had a late start. it was a 2 hour drive from groton, CT. the drive was beautiful. it was the start of the leaves turning colors. going to the new england states in the fall is the best time to see the colors. the last time i was here was in…Freedom Trail, you may wonder? Though the Holocaust Memorial is not listed on the tour guides for the Freedom Trail, it is very easy to sidestep the red line by just half a block and get a chance to visit the memorial.
