Avoiding high parking fees Jun 15, 2011
Like many other Israeli cities, Jerusalem is a place where tourists experience lots of problems with finding a free parking space. While the central part of Tel-Aviv is totally desperate in this aspect, in Jerusalem you may want to try to look for a free place in the vicinity of the Old Town. You have to head for the picturesque block called HaMoshava HaGermanit (The German Colony), which is at the distance of 10-15 min. walk from the Jaffa or Zion gates of the Old Town. Free parking lots can be found at Beit Lehem road , Martin Luther King street or Dubnov street (halfway to Jerusalem Theater).

Hurry up - Jerusalem city authorities can change their mind and find that it makes the tourists' life way too easy! ;)
