Be very careful at night time, and make sure you stay in the Main parts of the city, on major roads only to avoid any unpleasant surprises. Try to carry as little money as possible on you. If you need to get a ride from a motto driver, make sure you let them know where you want to go and agree on the price before you take off with them. Never leave important valuables out of sight, or they will go missing.

Visitors Guides are published quarterly by Canby Publications for Phnom Penh, Sihanoukville, and Siem Reap Angkor. The free booklets contain city maps, accommodation, bars and restaurants, points of interest, activities, and much more. The Siem Reap Angkor Visitors Guide includes a nice introduction to the Angkor Temples.

All three guides include a wealth of information about Cambodia including a brief history, border crossings, transportation, and combined, cover much of Cambodia. The free guides can be found at most guesthouses and hotels as well as online at:
