Frank's Ice Cream Freeport Reviews
Ice Cream while you shop Feb 02, 2011
We came across Frank's Ice Cream in the Port Lucaya Marketplace while searching for a refuge from the rain. It's a small ice cream shop that has a dozen or better flavors to choose from: everything from chocolate and vanilla to cookies and cream and black cherry to pineapple and coconut. What caught my eye was the sour sop, the gal behind the counter said it was a tropical fruit. Samples are offered, but she strictly enforced a two-try limit. I got a cup of the sour sop. Even though this isn't the world's greatest ice cream, it was good. It wasn't as creamy as I would have liked, but it had a good flavor.
There were only a couple tables inside, but there are a few more outside, where we sat to enjoy our ice cream. I thought the prices were reasonable, $3-ish for my dish, something comparable to the States. Frank's has dishes, cones and waffle cones as well as sundae concoctions to choose from.
Part of the list I Scream for Ice Cream!
