This is about a trip I took with my Dad and my brother. Then I was ditched my my dad and brother. Sorry if my tenses are all confused I wrote some of the blogs in the present then later, at home, updated them in past tense... sorry.

Flying from Germany to Barcelona, via Switzerland thanks to a French air traffic control strike.First day in Catena de Mar, Costa Brava, Spain.

After a day of Olympic type packing, jumping over the dog and dodging the cat, I got off on time and kicked back in a pub in Atlanta.   First funny thing…sitting in the pub, some guy asked for a diet coke…only have pepsi….oh, okay, I’ll have a margarita. Hitchhiking through Germany, friendsiness in Slovenia, hitchhiking back, off to Barcelona, surflongboardroadtripping through Spain and Portugal, onwards to Denmark, and back home. now wish me good luck! haha

My next connection from Dubai took me to Frankfurt. And this is where things went awry. My best friend Sue's aunt lives in Frankfurt, so I'd arranged to meet up with her for the few hours that I had a layover. Unfortunately a series of unfortunate events led to me missing my connection and with the unyielding rigour of Lufthansa, that meant I was f*cked. This trip essentially began with a week in beautiful Sydney, Australia. I wasn't sure of my itinerary, but I did pick up a Vietnamese Visa in Sydney, so after a few days visiting friends in Perth, I headed that way from down under. After Vietnam, I revisited Bangkok and Frankfurt to complete my Round the world adventure!
