If you're flying with BA to the UK (or presumably elsewhere) leave plenty of time for check in and to get to your departure gate.
There is the standard security check at passport control, however BA operate their own separate security check(complete with X-Ray and body search) just in front of BA's departure gates and no one is allowed through without being frisked. Often there's only one very slow moving queue here so if the airport's busy this could add another twenty minutes or so onto your check in time so make sure you don't leave it to the last minute to go to the departure gate!!
