4-day business trip

We took the caravan and travelled through spain france and germany saw leaning towel of pizza, and ifle tower, went to heidlebury castle.  Very long via car but saw alot.

Monday, august 25, we ate breakfast with Nicole. We walked to a post office to send some things home, then metroed back to the Louvre. This time we had plenty of time to explore what really is an incredible museum. We walked around an enormous atrium-like room full of ancient statues, then walked around one of the painting areas. There are some huge oil paintings in this part, some as big as the huge walls. Then we saw the famous Mona Lisa, where we had to crane our necks around a giant crowd…

An amazing trip because I took Latin in high school and studied mythology in college. It was great to finally see the things that I had been reading about for years.

EF (Education First) trip to Torquay, UK - summer of '04. Roughly 2 weeks of studying in Torquay, then off to London and last but definitely not least to Paris to 'party it up' the last few days of the journey.

London is beautiful!

In 1994 my father and I wanted to make a cycling trip to Lourdes. We were followed by a mini-van with all our luggage driven by a family friend. I'm really sorry I don't have any pic for this moment, hope to fix something later!

A whirlwind tour for 2 days through Paris and our feet hurt like no one's business!  Pretty amazing city, and all's great with the foursome.  Amazing that we've seen Holland, Germany, France and Belgium in one week!  It's actually comfortable being in France knowing some of the language - we were basically lost everywhere else - literally.  Great people everywhere, always helping us get un-lost.  We're heading down south very soon - it's so humid up here, I can't imag…

Thankfully the ferry ride was very smooth as it doesn't really take much for me to get sea sick.  Once we arrived in Calais it was all off the ferry and down to coach.  A few people stocked up on 'duty free' booze - not sure how they were planning on getting all the cans of Foster cold - so it was looking like it could get to be a noisy drive.

This was my free trip to London for the movie premiere of Stardust. We stayed at the Crown Moran by Kilbun and took the Tube everywhere- LOVED IT! Then we spent a day in Paris. For this 7 day vacation, we saw everything and walked everywhere! From 7am to usually 10pm, we did the touristy thing while getting around like the locals. I never had a strong desire to go to London (sorry!) but I admit that it was great and I will want to go again! I miss hearing "mind the gap!"& drinking tea!

Just came back from switzerland last sunday,for the Evian Tattoo Show in France,(just accross the lake Le Mans from Lausanne).Very great country with great people n great landscape.Been to the mountain..wow,words are not enough. But its damn cold..one nite it reach 1 and a half degree,the lowest i ever experience..but you know what?I took of my shirt for more about 5 minutes!..and my swiss friend told me to put my shirt back,bcoz i migh get sickness. can't stay too long outside to smoke:)
