A short bus ride (6hrs) and I was in Paris, one of my favorite cities, then more I come here, the more I want to move here :) I knew that I would be here only for 1 day so I just tried to enjoy as much of the city as I could, visiting places that I didn't get a chance to see when I was here last. After dropping my stuff at St. Christophers Hostel, I was off to Basilique du Sacré-Couer, which is located Monmartre, the highest point in the city. As I sat on the ...

thanks to a couchsurfing girl i hosted, i finally went up that cathedral, i've been up some cathedrals already, but not this one.here you can climb 66meters up for 4.40 euros (2.20 for students)! like any other cathedral it takes far longer to get up, then what you think! it turns and tuns till your very shaky! but after about 20 minutes your up! there is a big platform where you have a view of two sides of the town, sadly there is a big security protection, so you don't get very close to the...

The first day! We left our university at 6am in the morning and went with 2 busses Paris. On the way, we made a stop in Reims to visit the Champagne Pommery. We were divided into groups and we had a tour in the caves of the pommery. It was really nice and impressive to see all these bottles of champagne. A tourguide told us about the history of the Pommery and showed us around. After the tour, we all had a glass of champagne. (I don't liked it but okay, just to try hehe) After the visit we he...

Day 1:
Nîmes - St. Ambroix
90 km
After a busy week with lots of preparations our bus left at Eindhoven station at 16.00h. The bus wasn’t completely full, so Bas (my travel buddy) and I chose a place at the back of the bus. (After the bus trip we were sorry about this decision, because we were sitting right above the engine) After a 14 hour trip the bus left the toll road suddenly and I realised that we were entering Nîmes. But it was only half past 5 and still dark outside...

My last night in Paris was one of the top five nights of my life. My friend Alex had come in from the States to fly me home, (he works for Lufthansa, and got me a sweet deal on tickets...I got to fly business class for almost less than you'd pay to fly coach!) and we'd spent the day doing last minute shopping, sandwich grec eating, and packing. I walked arm and arm with him around the city I loved so and tried my best not to cry. I sat one last time on the steps on the bridg...

English version can be found below!
Laat in de middag gingen we weer op huis aan, daardoor hebben we toch nog een tijdje van Disneyland kunnen genieten.
After spending another few hours in the park we went home late in the afternoon.

A long time ago I visited Paris for one day and I knew I should come back to this beautiful city of light and love, because Paris has so much amazing sights, I`ve enjoyed every minute there, by day and by night!
One day in Paris was not enough for me.
The next time I spent 10 days in Paris and after that I still had not enough of Paris; I took the train, the bus, the car and the metro to visit Paris.
It`s not fun at a crowded metro, but the subway drives you everywhere you want in Pa...

My senior year Spring break. I went to Paris with three friends. Jane, Natalie, and I met with our friend Keren who lives in the city. She showed us around when she had the time and we got lost when she didn't.

Even though I didnt spent more than just a few days in the capital of France, I have had a chance to see and experience everything that that country had to offer, starting with the Louvre museum and Parisian Catacombs to the very tasty Crepes, which were sold literary on every corner of the streets.

Bon soir everyone!Haven't updated in forever so figured it's about time. I've been back in Paris since Thursday night, having spent the previous 2 nights in Saint-Malo which is a NW coastal town in the Bretagne region of France. I'll backfill entries for that and my last visit to Paris momentarily. This entry will cover Thursday night through tonight, April 8.After my rainy first day in France, the weather has been nothing short of amazing - warm but not too hot with sunshine practically past...
