A town near the Iguacu Falls on the Brazilian side. One of the options to stay while visiting the falls (more expensive but also more convenient)
The climate of Foz do Iguaçu is sub-tropical, with two distinctive seasons; one humid and hot in the summer and another, dry and cool, in the winter. Generally, the city is sunny during the year, but rain is fairly common during the spring and in the summer.

After the Bird Park it was on to the Brazil side of the Iguacu Falls. At the entrance you jump on a bus that takes you to down to the walking trails. (I must've dropped 10lbs in the last couple of days with all the walking I've done! LOL!) It's very hot and humid today. The air is pretty heavy and all those damn stairs just about kicked my butt! The falls was spetacular.... of course! The was one catwalk that took you so close to the falls you get drenched just from the mist. The Brazil side ...

Back in Foz do Iguaçú!!! What a relief!! Getting here was a pain and took a while, but it was worth it all!! And hey, the important thing is that we got here! And twice!! No regrets! The Iguazu Waterfalls were absolutely breathtaking! The first time 'round we were in such a hurry to make it to Rio for Carnaval, that we didn't even think about stopping to check out the waterfalls at Iguazu National Park. This time around though we weren't gonna leave without visiting this natural wonder. A bi...

Foz do Iguacu is one of the most beautiful places on earth. There are about 300 waterfalls along with beautiful flowers and exotic animals. The falls border Brazil & Argentina similar to how Niagara Falls border the US & Canada. We stayed in the hotel within the Brazilian park. They served breakfast on a patio looking out toward one of the biggest & most beautiful falls. Spectacular. The Brazilian park has some trails for viewing & pretty easy to maneuver. We took a guided tour in the ...
