Ghettofabulous in downtown Las Vegas Mar 22, 2012
The Four Queens is located in the downtown part of Las Vegas, also known as “Old Las Vegas” which is also known as the ghetto Vegas. This area actually has improved quite a bit in recent years and they’ve made a promenade, which they call the “Freemont Experience.” Here they have entertainment such as bars, outdoor stages for bands to perform, a zip line, a light show and plenty of street performers. You could spend hours here just watching everything. The Four Queens is right in the middle of it all.

As far as the hotel goes, it’s quite basic. It was very old in terms of Las Vegas standards. The room was old with dated carpet and furniture. Small with an even smaller bathroom. It may have seemed smaller than it actually was because there were 3 of us staying there. It did have a flat screen TV with plenty of channels to watch, so that was nice. The bed was comfortable, or maybe I was just so exhausted that I slept through the whole night until wake up call.

The shower in the bathroom doused you with plenty of water, but the drain couldn’t handle all the water, so you ended up showering in a big puddle. No big deal but pretty annoying. Also, the complimentary soap was so coarse that you felt really dry (and exfoliated almost to the point of being raw) when you were done. I had to use all the complimentary body lotion and yet still felt super dry.

As far as accommodations go, if you only want a place to sleep, this is perfect but if you want the other amenities, this has none. There is no pool, gym, the restaurants were not very good, the casino was old and little run down. Lots of the furniture in the casino had cigarette burns on them. Fortunately I only stayed for a couple hours, I don’t think I could have tolerated any more.

Great value hotel on Fremont Street(downtown)in Vegas. Was upgraded to a suite for free. Nothing spectacular, but really cheap rooms during the week. You can always lose the money you save on the casino downstairs!

Great Hotel to SLEEP at =) Sep 20, 2008
I was not the one who booked the room at the Four Queens, a friend of mine did. Good call.

This was my first time to visit Las Vegas, and i am glad we stayed here.

Being right on Fremont Street was awesome! The light show so close! =) I enjoyed the old, more chill feel of the hotel.

This hotel has a Casino as well, and staff for the most part are very friendly.

Is it fancy-No

Swimming pool-No

But we just needed a room with beds to sleep, the little bit of time that we actually did spend in the hotel!

Pic off Fremont St.
