We could not afford any hotels in Boston so we opted to do Priceline and Hotwire. For $70.00/night I got the Sheraton. If you don't mind staying out of town, it's really a nice place to stay. They have an airport shuttle (24 hour service) that will take you either to the airport or to the end of the blue subway line so that you can take the subway into town. Warning: DO NOT TRY TO WALK THERE, IT'S WAY TOO FAR!! The shuttle runs every 15 minutes in the morning and every 30 minutes in the afternoon, and every hour towards the evening. Once you get to the end of the subway line, you call them and they come get you--not bad! Really saved money...and if all else fails, and you must take a cab from the airport, it's only about 20 bucks to the hotel and that was sitting in traffic! There is a Japanese steak house in the hotel and a Pizzeria Uno next door for food options. McDonald's is not that far of a walk, either.
