Four corners is a geographical very interessting place.
It´s the only place in the US where 4 states (Colorado/Arizona/New Mexico/Utah) touch.
It´s partly in the Navajo and partly in the Ute Indian reservation.
There is a small entrance fee of 3 USD (AUG07) to be paid at the booth on the access road.
Besides the monument there´s not much arround except for a few locals who sell indian crafts.

Before we left for this trip, I had printed directions from Google for our drive from Kanab, Utah to Chinle, Arizona. The directions had stated that the drive would be 5 hours long through hundreds of miles of Indian reservation roads. However, the directions had overestimated the drive by about 2 hours, but we didn't know this until nearing Chinle two hours early.

I got obsessed with seeing this area after reading "She Who Remembers" years ago. Also, after my trip to Peru last year, it was really interesting to compare the two cultures.
