From Mexican Hat we headed back south-east and aimed our car towards the Four Corners Monument.  This is the only place in the United States where four states touch at a single point.  This is also on Navajo land and they charge a small entry fee to the area.   We spent an hour taking pictures at the Monument site with its plaque and raised photo stand, and the surrounding Indian booths with their handcrafted artwork, souvenirs and jewelry.    Its not a whole lot…

After making other stops on day seven we found ourselves at the four corners area.  This again is Navajo reservation land where the only place in the United States that four states come together, Arizona, Utah, New Mexico, and Colorado.  There is a very nice, large concrete area with a marker that people can stand on, and a raised wooden platform area where a friend or relative can take pictures.
