Founders Arms London Reviews
Dine and Drink on the Themes with great city views Aug 19, 2008
The Founders Arms is more of a tourist pub than a local boozer, but what it offers in location and proximity to the river make it well worth a stop. The pub is huge with a large number of indoor seats and an equal amount of picnic table style seats outside. The food is average pub fare, they have a good beer selection and a separate coffee bar.
If it’s cold outside they get some outdoor fire/heaters going and supply some blankets to wrap up in so you can still enjoy the scenery. In the warm weather the outside area will be jam packed, but be persistent and you’ll get a table eventually. It is not the kind of place people spend hours at so something should open up for you.
This is an ideal lunch/drink stop if you're touring the Southbank.
