Forty-Five North - Lake Leelanau - TravBuddy

This was for me the best Winery of the Wine Trail in the Leelanau Peninsula. The name of the winery is because of its location. They are exactly on the 45th parallel.

They produce 18 wines ranging from dry to sweet and red to white including a selection of dessert and fruit wines. Although I'm not an expert, I enjoyed the visit a lot. They have award winning wines and the Riesling Semi Dry is a MUST!

Also the staff is really friendly and helpful. The tasting room is not ready yet, but it doesn't stop them to open their doors to the visitors and wine lovers. If you are in the area and are considering taking the Wine Trail, don't think it twice and visit this Winery. They are still young, but it won't take long until they become really popular. Right now their success is growing very fast!
