Fortina Hotel Sliema Description

The Fortina Hotel is situated on the waterfront in a quieter part of Sliema, 400 metres from shops and cruise departure points in Sliema harbour. The Fortina overlooks Valletta, the island’s capital city, and offers spectacular sea views. The hotel is also five kilometres from Valletta, Malta's walled capital city. Malta International Airport is eight kilometres away, an approximate driving time of 10 minutes. Amenities include satellite TV, high-speed Internet access, direct-dial phones, tea and coffee making facilities. Onsite facilities include a cocktail bar featuring evening entertainment in the winter, an outdoor bar with stunning views and evening entertainment in the summer, and an indoor garden bar. Hotel restaurants include La Vallette Buffet Restaurant; Tigne Brasserie, serving French and continental cuisine; and Sa Re Ga Ma, serving authentic Indian cuisine. Four additional restaurants are available at the adjoining Fortina Spa Resort. The resort is known as one of Europe’s best short-break spa treatment centres, suitable for all budgets. The Spa Mediterranee offers concentrated sea-water and algae thalassotherapy, anti-stress and detoxification treatments; weight-loss programs; oxygen inhalation; Dead Sea bath and body treatments; and food intolerance testing. The Santé Spa features treatment rooms for anti-stress, detoxing and relaxing. Amenities include Finnish and Mediterranean saunas, reflexology, an ice fountain, relaxation area with thermal baths and heated recliners, a meditation room, and a steamroom. The Belle Époque Beauty Centre offers a variety of beauty treatments including a Cleopatra Bath, mud chamber, laser treatments, oxygen facials, Thai massages, and Indian head massages. The Hypogeum is a holistic spa offering colonic irrigation, crystal sound therapy, Indonesian rituals and massages, seaweed and mud applications, Chinese medicine, Ayuverda massages and slimming treatments. In addition to the spa services, two outdoor pools, three indoor pools and a spa tub are available. This hotel offers bed and breakfast, half-board, and all-inclusive rate plans.
