Fort Benning is one of the Army's most versatile posts. It's the home of the US Army Airborne school. There men and women from each of the services receives training. It's where men from each of the services come to train at the Ranger School. It's the home to the US Army Infantry Center and school as well as the new home of the Armor Center. Benning is not only a training center but is the home of the 3rd Brigade of the 3rd Infantry Division (Mech). It's a beautiful post on the western boundry of Georgia just south of Columbus.

Airborne School: Fort Benning Travel Photos

I was sent to Ft. Benning, home of the Airborne School, to help train 482 Soldiers, Airmen, and Marines how to jump out of a perfectly good airplane. My brigade sent the lion's share of the students so I became the liaison. When their training was in its last phase I got to jump with them. This blog is a few pictures of the parachuting and some of the funnier landings.
