Great view of the rivers joining up and the atmosphere is really good. Happy "Hour" is from 5-7pm, with half price cocktails etc, beer for a $1 - no excuse not to sample Angkor Beer.

Just relax, watch the geckos crawl along the walls and drink!

  I highly recommend everyone to have a beer from the roof bar of the FCC (Foreign Correspondents Club) when in Phnom Penh.  It costs a bit more, but just have the one to appreciate the view then head somewhere cheaper.           … Phnom Penh - Day 2

We walked around the river area and settled in at the FCC (foreign correspondents club) for lunch and drinks.  This venue is amazing, probably one of the nicest in the city.  The downside is you'll be surrounded by only expats, but it is a nice escape from the hustle and bustle on the streets… Phnom Penh!

This is common for budget hotels in Southeast Asia. We turned on the TV and American Idol was on. After resting, we tuk-tuked down to the riverfront and had dinner at Happy Herb Pizza and then stopped briefly at FCC (Foreign Correspondents Club) before heading back to our hotel. … On to Phnom Penh
