Newquay is the target for hen & stag night parties. The streets can get quite busy with tourists & people all dressed up in every outfit you can think of. I have seen cowgirls, monks, black-wigged young men, overgrown school children. They crowd round the bars & nightclubs, & the queues for the cash machines Friday night can be quite long, one of the places people get into is The central which is just down from the bus station. Here you can watch Sky TV, mess about on fruit machines & receive real Ale; so what does artificial Ale look like? The courtyard is shoulder-to-shoulder Friday nights, & Lloyds bank is next door with a cash point machine.

The Barracuda pub further up the street, names after a fish, which has razor sharp teeth. Some of these carry a poison called ciguatoxin. There’s outside eating at this pub, & wireless Internet accesses is provided by The Cloud; who’s that?

The Fort Inn has some stunning views across the bay from your table. The pub has a pool table (which we didn’t know about); they have BBQ’s during the summer. It’s quite busy during the evenings, but the menu is good & there’s one on display at the gate.

Newuqay is a great place for a night out.
Loads of people, so fun. :)
And gets much more busy, when Run to the sun is on in May and Boardmasters in August.
