The site is small and will take less than a half hour to visit. Really if you are not into history and the presidents, I don't see this as somewhere that you would put on your list of places to go in Omaha unless you have a lot of time.

That said, the site is put together nicely. The columns catch your attention first. From there the memorial flows down into the rose garden that probably is best in late spring and early summer (not July). I really did appreciate the stone tablets that listed the governors of NE and mayors of Omaha (and those who filled that role before it had that official name). They added a connection to the local area.

The memorial leads back to a kiosk that is pretty simple but does give some background on not just Ford but also his wife.

Street parking is free. Unless you can access the conservation center, there are no facilities here.
