Forcadell Apartments is in a beautiful French-style building. The service is very good. Receptionists are polite and speak very good English. The breakfast and bar area is small. Not much space between tables. The 1st floor lobby and reception area plays loud music and tourists are loud. Can be a problem for 1st and 2nd floor quests. The location is great for Lavalle and Florida Street shopping, restaurants and the Opera House (unfortunately closed for the past 2-years). There's good public transportation by bus (colectivo) and subway (subte). The streets are very noisy, especially the loud buses that run all day and night on Tucuman and Suipacha Streets. You'll need ear plugs! There's a few so-called 'Gentleman's Bars,' in the immediate location of Forcadell Apartments at Suipacha and Esmeralda Streets that draws an unsavory crowd and some homeless men drinking on the corner of Suipacha -- every afternoon and evening. Good safety feature is that the building has a 24-hour doorman. However, if I had children I would have checked out the next day. The building's Wi-Fi Internet Connection is extremely unreliable in your room. The main router needs an upgrade or FORCADELL APARTMENTS must get another Internet Service Provider and dump Fibertel Wi-fi. There's a router located on every floor near the 2 elevators not in your room. So, frequency is very low. If you need reliable and daily Internet Connection and Service don't stay at FORCADELL APARTMENTS until they provide a router Internet connection in every room. This apartment building is not suitable for staying any longer than a week because there's no decent food shopping in this downtown area
