For Real Resort Hotel Reviews
For Real Resort in Negril Jul 23, 2008
The For Real Resort is a great place. Great management, staff, location. Buy the owner, Mr. Phillips, a Bailey's and tell him San Diego Tom (aka "Screw") said hello. Maureen and her husband Robert run the bar. Cheapest prices at the bar along that stretch of the beach.
Sammy can take care of your requests. If he does not have it, he can get it for you. Todd, Pops, and Afia are the beach staff -- good people. Zorro is the cook, and a good one. Off season rooms about $80, more for the high season. Much lower than comparable resorts on 7 mile beach. About 50 yards/meters to Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville. Miss High Times Contest held at the For Real the last two years. |

The next two days were spent on Jamaican time, relaxing, cilling and just generally lazing around our resort, finding where everything was the grounds were beautiful with such lush vegetation and tranquillity.
We had chosen to stay at couples …… Jamaican time. |
