Brazillian Goodness Nov 06, 2011
Like all brazillian steakhouses, this place was expensive. The food was served table side by Gauchos who would slice off a piece of meat to your desired size and doneness. Multiple Guachos with multiple meats would continuously stop by as long as your eating card was green, and would stop when you flipped it to red.
As is tradition in Brazil, all of the meats were served rodizio style, which basically means skewered and roasted over an open flame. Everything was perfectly seasoned. The choices I remember were bacon wrapped filet mignon, rack of lamb, lamb chops, bacon wrapped chicken, sausage, sirloin, flank, and a brazillian specific recipe which was loaded with flavor and very tender.
There was a large salad bar that people mistakenly filled up on before eating all of the meats. It wasn't my first rodeo so I went light with the salad and heavy with the meats. Afterall, the meats are what you are paying for.
It was about $45 USD for the food (set price since it is all you can eat) and we got a bottle of wine for another $50. Well worth it, but definitely avoid this place if you are a vegetarian or someone looking for a light meal.
