These are some of the best churrascaria in the Dallas area. I went to their first one in Porto Alagre and loved it as well. The atmosphere is great. They have a wine cellar to die for. The meats are always cooked the way you like them. All of the 'gauchos' are from Brazil, so you get a real Brazialian feeling.
The salad bar is a meal within it's self. Be careful not to fill up to quickly on all of the items there including smoked salmon, cheeses and vegtables. If you have never experienced one of these restaurants before, you will be in for a treat. They seat you and give each member in your party a small card colored red on one side and green on the other. When you are ready for grilled meats, simply place the card on green, when you want to slow down or stop, turn it to red. They do not rush you to eat. really, just the opposite. They want you to enjoy your visit. The waiters are very attentive. If you would like Black Beans and rice, you will now have to ask for it. It is worth it. They have a variety of desserts, so if you have a sweet tooth, save some room. These are not included in your meal. They are pretty pricey, but worth it. If it's your B-Day, they will give you one for free. Beware, you can easily walk out spending nearly $90 a head with drinks and dessert, but well worth it. Enjoy. Jules brother, Alex, came up to Texas from Australia and we took him to
Fogo De Chao. We all had a great time and spent entirely way too much
money. We did the museum thing and just hung out all over Dallas. We
also went to the 6th floor book depository, walked where Kennedy got
shot and went into… Alex comes to town |
