Flying with China Southern Airlines
Flying with China Southern Airlines Xiamen Reviews
Lack of attention to safety Oct 24, 2001
Basic safety practices were absent on our China Southern (CZ3832) from Hangzhou to Xiamen:
* One cabin crew sitting at the boarding door did not fasten her seat belt for takeoff and landing.
* The passengering pilots placed three large pilot cases unrestrained on the three seats opposite the cabin crew's jump seats. Certainly a risk in sudden deceleration as there was no partition between the passenger seats and the crew.
Service-wise, everything went well. As with all flying history in China, the flight was on time, with a tasty hot meal served despite the short 1 hour duration. The meal was a bit lighter than others we've had but entirely appropriate for the duration.
