Flying Domestically into Jeju Island Jun 08, 2014
There's more than Jeju Air when flying into Jeju from other parts of Korea.

There are frequent flights from Seoul's Gimpo Airport and Busan's Gimhae Airport. There are a handful of flights that go to Incheon, but that's pretty rare.

Competition is rampant on the Seoul - Jeju route, not so on the Busan - Jeju route; hence, you'll have a higher chance finding cheaper tickets on the former.

These are the airlines that you should compare when looking for fares!

- Asiana / Busan Air (use the Busan Air website, Asiana's website is terrible)

- Eastar Jet

- Korean Air

- T'way Airlines

- Jin Air

- Jeju Air

You do not have to book return flights on the same airline. You can go there via one and back via another, whichever is more convenient/cheaper; there's no penalty for one-way tickets.

Prices fluctuate frequently and do not just increase as the date gets closer. In fact, my ticket was almost 20000W cheaper than what I paid one week prior to the departure date.

Cancellations incur a very nominal fee of about 1000W if you've bought tickets at regular or slightly discounted fares; so if there's a better flight/cheaper flight, do cancel and rebook on an alternative airline!
