Aug 03, 2009 Value: Location: Cleanliness: Amenities: Bed: Bathroom & Shower: Service: The Floris Avenue Hotel had a 4 star rating and had undergone a complete renovation. The room rate included breakfast which was very good and the best part of the hotel experience. Our room was good size with a double bed, mini fridge and TV. The bathroom was dirty, plumbing fixtures were not secured to the wall. Even the light switch was loose. The AC unit leaked and the mattress had to be 20 years old. It was not comfortable. It is in a run down part of town and alot of people are hanging out on the street and on park benches drinking beer and smoking anything available.
