When my friend from Trinidad invited me to play photog for the Spring Break Nationals Car Audio show while he was judging I just couldn't resist. Between his camera and my two the photo count for the weekend topped 700. Here is just a sampling of the amazing craftsmanship displayed at the show.

..today I realised that there's not a single person in the whole of south beach fatter than me!Quite hard to take but sure enough, all of them whether 18 years old or 68 had a better, tighter body than I. Of course the outdoors lifestyle and the I-must-be-beautiful vibe are contributors but in essence these guys all work harder than me. They're all running round in their athletic gear on boxing day working up a sweat in 80+ degree weather and largely loving it. Feeling inspired I came back …

This day would prove to be the day we caught something big enough to weigh in! After two days of catching nice but unqualifying fish, I landed a 23lb. barracuda and Cathi caught a nice dorado (mahi-mahi or bull dolphin). Though we didn't have big enough fish to place by the end of weigh-in. We still were able to have our pictures taken dockside with Miss Destin. The trip turn out to be great and we made plans for the following year. We headed back the next morning and arrived home with a ice …

Eric had to work in the morning so we met up with him at the airport so I could return my rental car. we started on our way and I was trying to figure out why the GPS was taking me back roads... and why it was going to take so long to get there... I figured it out later... I had it avoiding all toll roads and to go highways you go on toll roads. So needless to say once we met up with Eric and dropped off the car we didn't get to Disney world until about 11:30AM and the park closed…

It was so difficult to leave our beautiful room at Roussell’s Garden B & B, The friendly hosts, Bryan and Janet Roussell, made us feel right at home. The other guests, too, were like family almost immediately. Breakfast this morning featured biscuits and gravy. I paled at the thought of this extremely fattening, cholesteral-bolstering and diabetes-accellerating Southern dish. It is served for almost every traditional breakfast. I had seen this stuff c…

Our Western Caribbean cruise came to an end as Carnival Miracle docked again in Tampa. Well, the ship actually docked sometime during the night! But no one could be let off before US Customs had cleared the ship. While waiting for clearance, we went to the dining room for a full service breakfast. One of our regular waiters was on duty, so we had a chance to say goodby again. The breakfast menu slection was similar to that at Horatio's buffet. I enjoyed French to…

In February 2005, My family and another family went to the Florida Keys. The weather was great, and it was very relaxing. Though it wasn't the most productive or eye opening trip I've taken, I thought I'd share it with you guys.

We are leaving for home soon. The bag is packed to the brim with dirty clothes and I have all the souveniers in the carryons. We had one
last breakfast from the Marketplace, and then regretfully, went out front to catch the Magic Express back to Orlando International. If they
don't stop playing "Wish Upon a Star" I'm going to cry! This is sad people! I NEVER am sad to leave to go home after a cruise, usually
just a bit bummed out that it's over, but this???!!!…

Well I arrived into Miami the night before the cruise, drove all the way from Tampa, Florida. I hate being in car for longer than an hour so the four hours were pretty grueling for me. We stayed at the Hampton Inn and the Miami International Airport, very nice hotel and free breakfast. The morning of the 30th my partner and I got up bright and early and headed to the port, returning the car was a nightmare as was the shuttle from the car place to the port. Check-In was very quick at the port …

Getting up early, we headed out and started fishing. We wouldn't hit the fish as hard today, but we'd catch a couple good ones. Dad caught a nice red snapper and I caught a fair spanish mackerel. By days end, after some bottom fishing and trolling, we went back to AJ's for weigh in and proferred or catches. By final weigh in time, my mackerel was still the biggest of the day! It wouldn't stand for the tournament but I won a t-shirt for my efforts. This would prove to be our final day of …
